      wut mine does too

    • You might try 3 things: 1. Start with something just behind your dog like a wall, sometimes it prevents your dog from standing up. 2. Be a little more patient. Wait for your dog to calm down or rest, if you will. Take the treat away for a second if you have to because it seems some dogs get too excited. 3. Keep the treat close to her nose. Make sure when you bring the treat down keep it closer to her chest (to get her to sit) and then Make an “L” shape with the treat (slowly) bringing it down to the ground and then in between her paws to get her to lie down.

  4. I’m one of your biggest fans! Why? Because of your enthusiam!!! Yes, you teach well. But, your emphasis on the relationship between training and the trainee is actualy, as you say, a “revolution” in training. Laidies and gentlemen, why do you have a dog? If the first answer is not regarding love, then rethink what you’re doing with a dog. The love will create the patience needed to train your dog. The love will allow mistakes that your dog will inevitably make. And in return, you’ll be loved. You’ll be in better shape (Dog walks and training burn calories!). You’ll be happier (Thinking of others as well as the scientifically proven oxytocin release between owner and dog both create happier and healtheir people.). And good surprises along the way as the relationship develops between owner and dog, I promise that!
    Happy Positive Training Folks,
    Wolfy 🙂

  5. I just love your enthusiasm

  6. When I was doing this, I became frustrated because my chihuahua would get in down position but wouldn’t follow through with laying on her side. Frustrated, I tried forcing her to do it and she bit me. I re watched the video and it was, of course, all my fault. The treat wasn’t totally in the right position for her to follow through. Now she can do it, I just have to eventually lose the lure and teach her the word. Thanks Zak!!!!

I love your videos Felipe is learning a lot 🙂

  8. My shih Tzu  was too smart, she would turn her head the other way instead of foolishly rolling her whole body over for the treat..

i wanted to teach my dog to roll over and play dead, so I went to my mom and asked if we had a bit of cheese so I could train my goldens. She wouldn’t allow me to give them any cheese because she said that they can’t digest it and then they’ll always want human food instead of dog food:(

+Breena McGraw well she does have a good point at the dinner table my dog sits at the corner waiting for food

    • +Breena McGraw *Do you want to train your Dog ? click to view now >>> **** It helps you to become trainner fastly !!!*

    • +BreePlays MC the trick is to never give dogs human food when humans are eating. meaning, never give a dog human food off a plate, in the kitchen from the counters or floor, or from the dinner table. however small pieces of cheese are perfectly healthy for training your dog 🙂 that is, if they’re not over weight.

oh my god that was the best part

  11. my Chihuahua just chasing after the meat instead of luring

  12. would you ever consider going to a shelter to help volunteers learn how to train the dogs? i’ve never had a dog before and i don’t know how to get started in training. It makes them more adoptable when they walk well and know simple commands

  13. I taught both of my dogs a new trick with this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just stumbled upon your videos while browsing huskies singing vids- and I have to say- you’re *awesome* and your dogs are, too!

Thank you for letting other people see for themselves and believe in the incredible potential our pets naturally possess- and how much richer and rewarding our lives become when we give our time, attention, respect and love to our dogs! You have a knack for explaining. What a gift!

I’d only like to add some additional encouragement to the pet owners out there: don’t give up! Once you figure out your dog’s currency, is like you’ve unlocked a door… They love- dare I say it- exist- to ‘work’, and please you. They love repetition (much like our kids do!), they love to be praised (yup, like kids!); I’ve found the benefits are huge!

You have a new subscriber, Loki🐈, and I are going to take a LokiLook at the frisbees videos you made as well. I’m excited to see other people who understand and enjoy their dogs as well.

Please- keep up the important work you’re doing! With your youth, energy and positivity, you’ll reach a lot of people, and improve the lives of both man and beast 🤓😉, I just know it!

PS just shared your play list link (in your description box) to Twitter
